$400/hour for attorney, $250 flat rate for initial consultation
$235/hour for associate, $150 flat rate for initial consultation
$110/hour for paralegals
$250 flat rate; generally meeting is 1-1½ hours with Ms. Gold.
If the firm is retained, the client signs a fee agreement and pays a retainer. The initial retainer varies based on the complexity of the matters in issue. Generally it ranges from $2,500-$10,000.
At the end of each month the client will receive a detailed statement of the work performed and associated expenses (copying, fax charges, long distance phone charges, filing fees, etc.). Monies are drawn from the retainer to pay the monthly bill until the retainer is depleted. When the funds drop below $500, the clients will be asked to replenish the retainer.
Paralegals assist Ms. Gold with the research, legal writing, correspondence, telephone calls, and discovery. In this office, they are often the client’s first point of contact.Premarital Agreements
